\r\n<Introduction>
\r\nCCN Residency will hold individual exhibitions of the second residency artists in a relay format. This exhibition will be a place to reflect on the meaning of creative activities here and gauge the direction of creation that will take place during the re\r\nmaining residency by exhibiting the past representative works and new works which has been produced since they moved into this studios in April this year.\r\nNa Kwang Ho, who opened the beginning of the solo exhibitions for the secon residency artists, has been working on paintings and prints based on the concept of utopia. The utopia he paints is in contact with the brilliant moments he encountered with plants while walking through the forest with a botanical illustration book. By describing plants in forests and wilds in detail, he brings overlooked and forgettable beings to unfamiliar and marvelous areas and brings them to the world of utopia here in reality. This exhibition aims to see the world of the artist's recent works by exhibiting large-scale new works produced after moving into CCN Residency and representative works of the past three years.
\r\n<Artist’s Note>
\r\nUtopia. This was a particular period in my life, and where exactly was it? Where was the point in time? This question marked the beginning of my work. Then, I began to imagine and trace back to that time, recalling memories and reflecting on experiences worth remembering. The visual image that made me recall these was that of walking through the forest with a botanical encyclopedia, encountering real plants—a moment of brilliance.\r\n
