Chungcheongnam-do

The Baekje History Reproduction Site is going to be changed into a history theme park of the Korean style. Chungnam Province, Buyeo county and the Lotte Hotel agreed to associate with each other in constructing a history theme park. Mr. Wangu Lee, Governor of Chungnam Province, and Mr. Gyokho Shin, the vice president of the Lotte Conglomerate, and Mr. Sangbong Jua, CEO of Lotte Hotel and other figures concerned participated in the M.O.U. to invest 310 Billions won(KRW) for the tourist infrastructure of this site.

According to that M.O.U., the Lotte will construct accomodations of 500 rooms and a theme outlet to sell high-end apparel and accessories. And diverse parks such as an Amusement Park including a miniature land, a water park, spa facilities etc, an AGRI Park where people can try traditional cultures, an ECO Park having forest for green shower and ecological park and an 18 hole golf course will be constructed. As for the Lotte, it has a construction plan of the theme park to apply the traditional design patterns of Baekje to all these facilities and will provide space for making, displaying and selling various traditional craftworks and performing a folk play in those facilities. Thus Lotte intends to construct a differentiated theme park preserving the traditional images of Baekje.

Construction of Accomodations with Diverse Styles
According to the plan, 3 kinds of accomodations such as general Condo, Luxury Spa Village and Golf Village will be constructed. The diverse sizes of rooms from 25 to 130 Pyeongs(a Korean scale for measuring area, 1 Pyeong is equal to 3.3 square meters) will be provided to satisfy customer demands. The total number of rooms will amount to 500 and five 10-story buildings with 350 rooms will be built as for condominium type. And a large‘Convention Center’forsymposiums and conferences and an ‘Aquarium’ providing grand sights of under the seas of the world will be there in the condominium.Addition to that condominium type, Luxury Spa Village and Golf Village will be built as for condominium townhouse type with from single to 3-story buildings. The Spa Village consists of 100 rooms over 60 Pyeongs and the Golf Village has 2 rooms of 130 Pyeongs and 48 rooms of 55 Pyeongs.

Construction of a Resort for 4 Seasons Based on 4 Topics of Theme Park
The theme park consists of 4 zones such as AGRI Park, ECO Park, Amusement Park and Baekje Theme Outlet.
AGRI Park is based on the theme of agriculture for ecological experience and a provide a program for children to experience pastoral experiences such as in the Daekwanryeong Sheep Ranch. ECO Park is an eco-friendly space showing the stones, plants and cultures of Baekje and a rest area where people can rest in the nature like trails for forest bath and ecological park. And Amusement Park is a differentiated theme park for family tourists with spa facilities, the street of Baekje and old architecture experiencing place.And on the Baekje Theme Outlet will be gift shops for traditional character items and souvenirs, a performance hall for traditional folk plays, a place for making, displaying and selling various traditional craftworks and restaurants selling traditional food.
